The Youth-Wing of the African
Culture Restoration Association (A.C.R.A.) is registering
children from 8 years old for its Youth Activities Program
Launch. This will be on Saturday, August 15th,
2004 from 10AM - 3:00 PM. This fun filled program is a new
addition to the fabulous Marcus Garvey Celebrations, which
will be held in The Coronation Park, 2700 Eglinton Avenue
West, at Black Creek, in the beautiful City of Toronto.
Activities include
Drumming, Arts & Craft
Workshop, Track & Field, Traditional Games, Story Telling,
Basketball Competition and much more. Advance registration
is required for certain activities so please contact the program
co-ordinator (Nohsakhere
Abrahim) without delay.
Participants under 18 years
of age will require parental consent in order to participate.
Parents are invited to accompany their children and to give
assistance in ensuring the successful delivery of the program.
